The Products of Products (Series. Vol 1)
Every [natural hair'ed] woman knows, has, and may still be encountering the struggle of finding the perfect products for her tresses. We (should) know that not all natural hair is created the same and therefore what works for one, definitely will not work for the next. There are some products however, that work perfectly for completely different hair types.
The products I will feature in The Products of Products Series, will be products that I LOVEEEEE and have worked wonderfully, MIRACULOUSLY for me, but have also worked on clients and friends of mine!
Today I bring to you Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Shampoo and Tresseme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner!
Active Ingredients:
Black Vanilla: Aloe Leaf, Calendula Flower, Wild Rose, Soy, Lavender, Sweet Clover, Sage, Nettle and Rosemary
Nourishing Moisture: Water, Caprylic, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alchohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Fragrance, Lauryl Lysine, Caprylyl Glycol, Brassica Capestris (Rapeseed)/Aleurites Fordi Oil Copolymer, Aspartic Acid, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Persea Gratissima (Avacado) OilOrganic, Citris Acid, Alcohol, Isopropyl Alchohol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Organic
I know. I know..so many alcohol's in the Tresseme and traditionally, we don't like alcohol. HOWEVER, my hair feels like a CLOUD every single time I use it. And obviously Carol's Daughter is pure amazing-ness, which smells even more incredible and leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and luscious. I always use these products together and my hair was in it's greatest condition when I did.
I have since ventured out to explore other brands just to see if there was anything better, I have found ALMOST comparable brands (which I will review soon), but definitely not better.
Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Shampoo has NO Silicones, NO Parabens, NO Mineral Oil, NO Artificial Colors and NO Petroleum, which we love so much! And although Tresseme can't be all that we would love it to be, it's first ingredient is water and it makes your hair brilliantly soft, which is a fantastic start!
