Overview

Unveiling Hidden Struggles: Literary and Congregational

"Hidden" aimed to bridge the gap between mental health and the church community, offering a comprehensive guide to identify, understand, and manage mental illness within congregations. The project sought to destigmatize mental health challenges and equip church leaders and members with practical insights and tools for support.

We collaborated to understand the target audience, plan each chapter meticulously, and format the book to maximize engagement and use.

THE Solution

Conceptualization & Co-Authoring

Collaborating closely, with our shared knowledge of mental health and the Black church, we conceptualized a comprehensive guide, ensuring a balanced approach that merged critical insights with spiritual guidance.

Developmental Editing, Formatting & Publishing

Through meticulous developmental editing, we refined the content to ensure clarity and accessibility. Simultaneously, I navigated the formatting and publishing processes, crafting a visually engaging and reader-friendly publication.
